“When we purchased our home the furnace was big and in bad shape, I think it was the original furnace that was put in 1962.  When someone remodeled they did not do it by permit, and the clearance for the furnace was not correct. So I know that some day soon the furnace would need to be replaced, which would mean the wall would need to be moved to meet the building code.

I met Jeff at a meeting and his talk that day was, “that you should service your furnace every year, because it would expand the life of the furnace by many years”. Because I did not know the last time the furnace had be serviced I thought this was a good idea so I scheduled an appointment. When Jeff’s heating and cooling came out on the service call, Jeff the tech was very knowledgeable and explain in great detail what I was up against with my existing furnace. Jeff worked miracles on the old furnace, but before he told me that the life in the furnace was just about over I saw that for myself.  My first thought was big dollar signs to remodel and replace the furnace.

But to my surprise when Jeff came out to give me the quote on the new furnace and hot water heater, he had a solution to my problem, and I did not have to remodel. With his construction knowledge he came up with a solution to fix the clearance problem and it would only cost about $200.00 more. What a relief this was to me, because the remodel would have cost well over $5000.

Another great surprise we received from Jeff, he was able to get us a 3.99% loan and Jeff did most of the work to help us get the loan approved in about 24 hours.

I can not think Jeff enough for the great work, and because of Jeff’s Heating and Cooling I have a furnace this is the right size for the house I now call home.”
